Scottish wildcats are in dire need of help. There are many other species that qualify on this front of course but the issue with wildcats is time…or lack of it. We urgently need to find out more about them in order to make informed management decisions. We need to expand the captive breeding population and we need to make more people aware of the wildcat’s plight – something that has never been done to date.
If you’d like to help Scottish wildcats in the Cairngorms National Park, please consider making a donation to this project via the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland.
Your valued contribution will be used to:
- Conserve wildcats through practical conservation and research.
- Develop educational materials to improve awareness of wildcats.
- Expand captive breeding facilities to support the wild population.
